Echigo Yakuso Co., Ltd. is currently constructing the “Echigo Yakuso Distillery” on the premises of its head office in Joetsu City, aiming to open around the end of August 2022, based on the concept of a “museum-type distillery” where the world view of “YASO” can be experienced with the five senses as art.
To celebrate the topping out of the new distillery, a Ridgepole raising ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
After the Ridgepole raising ceremony, we will hold a mochi-maki (rice cake-throwing) ceremony in Kozaruya, Joetsu City, where our head office is located, to express our gratitude to the local community for their continued support.

Thanks to the crowdfunding campaign, the “Echigo Yakuso Distillery” will be able to offer a distilling scenery, contemporary art, and even a bar salon where you can enjoy YASO on the spot, thanks to our customers. The first floor is the factory floor. Visitors can observe the actual distillation process and experience the aroma of “YASO” during distillation.

The third floor is a bar salon where guests can experience the pairing of “YASO” with dishes that make the most of local ingredients.
