YASO's 2022 zine marks the third year since its birth in February 2020.
The YASO GIN 2022 model is made by adding 70 botanicals to YASO SPIRITS, which is distilled from alcohol produced in the process of fermenting "80" ingredients, mainly wild plants, and making enzymes, and then re-distilling the distilled product.
The "150" on the label represents the total number of ingredients in the base spirit (80) and the number of botanicals in the redistillation (70).
The distillation method was devised to achieve a clear, light mouthfeel, and juniper berries and spices were lightly crushed by hand to enhance the aroma while increasing the filtering process to achieve a clear, transparent flavor.
