We are pleased to announce the release of our first Premium Edition gin, a rare gin with a limited quantity of "peach" as the main botanical. This is a special bottle, designed and developed over a long period of time, from the planning stage to the distillation method.
The only botanicals used are juniper berry, peach, and jasmine flower. By keeping the composition simple with only three botanicals, we were able to achieve a satisfactory balance through repeated trials and verification so that the individuality of each ingredient and the layers of aroma would stand out even more.
Peaches, the main ingredient, are carefully selected from fully ripened fruit from Nagano Prefecture and Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, which have an excellent balance of flavors.
In order to bring out the very delicate peach aroma without compromising it, we use a distillation process with a much lower alcohol content than usual. The result is a rich, sweet peach aroma that stands out without being overshadowed by the herbal aroma of juniper berries.
In addition, a small amount of decompression-distilled jasmine flowers are blended as an element to tighten the aftertaste. The slight astringency of the jasmine flowers adds an elegant aftertaste, and the aroma lingers softly after the drink, lingering in the memory.
