July's limited edition gin is the spice-scented "Revival Cola
One of the prototypes before the launch of YASO was a spicy "cola-like" gin, and we have recreated this fantastic gin.
This limited edition gin was created as a test to see what would happen if it were made with the current distillation and blending techniques, which have improved in the three years since YASO's release. At that time, spices were distilled in a large, decompression-type distiller, so we used a decompression-type distiller for the spice parts of this gin in order to reproduce the same aroma. This time, the small distiller was turned several times and the extracted spice parts were blended with juniper berry parts.
The addition of juicy lemon and orange flavors gives the gin a spicy, citrusy, deep flavor that is perfect for the coming season.
