apanese mugwort is often called the KING of WILD GRASS. We produce YASO SPIRITS by extracting alcohols from fermented and aged ingredients whose main part is natural, pure Japanese mugwort grown in Joetsu district, Niigata.
70% of the ingredients are wild grass such as Japanese mugwort, turmeric, houttuynia, lotus leaf and asian ginseng. The other part consists of fruits like apples, grapes, vegetables and seawoods. The 80 ingredients are totally used for distillation.

By changing the distillation method, miscellaneous tastes are reduced and the true taste of YASO can now be enjoyed. This spirit has a cool, white rum-like mouthfeel, with a soft wildflower aroma behind it.
In addition, by raising the alcohol content to 50 degrees, the flavor and sweetness of “YASO” are more easily perceived.
