YASO Absinthe Nagato Taira Issei is supervised by Nagato/ISSEI Taira who is search and cultivate wormwood.
We use the wormwood and Japanese peppermint that is cultivated by Mr. Taira.
In addition, we use all parts(leaf, flower, stem) of wormwood, you can taste the bitterness. Please enjoy the sweetness, bitterness and refreshing flavor of YASO Absinthe Nagato Taira Issei, which come from anise seed, star anise, wormwood and peppermint.

Wormwood is the plant that is the main ingredient of Absinthe and blooms small yellow flowers.
It takes 3 years to complete its growth, and the height is over 180cm(taller than average Japanese heights ) .
It grows dramatically in the growth period, and I sometimes call it the green monster.
I can’t tell well how the flowers’ scent is alike.
They mark the end of summer when they approach the peak of blossoming,
and I’d like you to feel the end of summer by opening the bottle.
Absinthe is normally made from lots of herbs and spices.
However, I reduced the ingredients of“YASO Absinthe Nagato Taira Issei” as few as I can.
I aimed for the concept “Simple is best”.
YASO SPIRITS, which has complex flavors, may make you enjoy finding out the hidden ingredients of its main flavor.
It has already been 8 years since the wormwood research started,
