2023 Limited Ed. 12 "Sleeping Woody"

It is December, and my body is surprised by the arrival of winter all at once. Half of the mountains have turned white and the trees are still changing colors with autumn leaves below them, as if autumn has been compressed into summer and winter. I miss the days when it was so hot that I thought it would be summer forever.

It has become cold, but gin can be drunk with hot water, so why don't you try it in various ways depending on the temperature and your mood? I have the impression that trees are sleeping, but what about you?
I think it is the absence of the hustle and bustle of the world in the trees of the mountains that makes us think so. This time we bring you a limited edition from those mountain trees.

The main use of chromojis is for toothpicks and tea, but recently a number of gins and beers using chromojis have appeared on the market. We cleaned and cut the branches of the chromojis grown in the prefecture before distilling, adjusting the number of column steps to find the best conditions.

The aroma was complex and varied, with lemon-like aroma, sweet fruit aroma, and pungent ginger-like aroma, and there was a fair amount of individual variation, which reminded me of what it means to be in touch with nature while distilling.

In addition to this, a basket is used to distill chromophyll, fir, rosemary, and bergamot, and finally a juniper berry-based distillate is used to blend the two.

I was surprised at how refreshing it was when I put it in writing, but it was very difficult to decide how much concentration to use for the kuromoji this time, and I had a lot of trouble with the distillation method as well. Finally, I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about it 24/7, but even in such a situation, the trees were sleeping and wouldn't let me hear their voices.

The human drama-like worldview of me not being able to sleep because I was thinking of Kuromoji, but Kuromoji not knowing such a thing, not being able to wake up from his sleep, became more and more interesting to me, and I was happy with the result because it led me to quite a few ideas. No, it's really ......, so that's what the name is based on. ......

I like the aftertaste of the juniper and the feeling of a broken branch of a black maple tree that melts on the tongue. I like the aftertaste. I think it goes well with any kind of split wood.

The soda is sweet and refreshing. When mixed with tonic, the spiciness is enhanced and it tastes crisp and delicious, contrary to soda. When mixed with tonic, which has the flavor of quina, it has more of the bark of the chromophyll tree, which makes it a little peculiar, but it seems to go very well with cheese, so I will give it a try.

Oh, I want cheese: ......
