It is February, and although we think it is a mild winter, the days are cold, and behind the glass, snow is falling steadily.
Sometimes this place, where there is no scent or sound of falling snow, and the smell of herbs and the sound of working herbs are separated by a sheet of glass in the distillery, feels like an indescribably mysterious space. It is as if the world is different between the outside and the inside.
Timelapse."
It is a Japanese word that appears in Japanese novels and manga. It refers to the movement back and forth between one's past and future, but in many works, the person does not move to the past or future in his or her present state, but rather his or her spirit and memories seem to move to the past or future person.
I don't really want to go back in time, but I like many of these works. The important thing is the axis of the story that uses it, because time leaps are only a means, not an end.

The limited edition for February is named YELLOW LEAF LEAP.
Yellow represents lemon and spring turmeric, and leaf represents black tea and spruce.
I distilled these four ingredients using a column tower, and the first distillate had a citrusy and bitter taste with a strong lemon and spruce flavor. This was fine and I was going to use the same method for the second one, but suddenly I imagined in my mind a world line where spring turmeric and black tea were coming out the same way as lemon and spruce.

I'd like to see all four raw materials more dynamic."
Maybe that's what I was thinking in my mind during the first distillation.
I really wanted to go back in time, but it seemed impossible for me, so for the second distillation I kept the same amount of raw materials and adjusted the number of column stages and the amount of cooling water at the top of the tower to make the spring turmeric and black tea stronger, and blended it with the first to get the world line I had imagined.

This is where the leap in the name comes from. We also blended two types of juniper berry-centric distillates (different proportions of juniper, herbs, etc.) to create the finished product.
The slightly tropical elements and lemon notes of the conifer spruce leaves, the sweet aroma of spring turmeric, the acidity and sweetness of black tea, and the bitter taste of juniper make this gin.
It is also recommended to drink it with soda, tonic water, ginger ale, or even hot water on cold days.
The release date is February 15. How about a drink while watching a time leap work?
