How is everyone doing?
I would like to write this diary with more of Yamada's feelings.
Unexpected collaboration with Jin Akanishi. I think many people were surprised. Of course, I was incredibly surprised when I first heard about the collaboration. Because it was Mr. Akanishi, right? I had never dreamed of it when I joined the company, and I even thought it was half a surprise until I received his comments on the prototype. I even thought it was half a surprise until I made the prototype and got his comments.
When I was a little girl, a certain school drama was my favorite and I used to watch it with pleasure. I wish I could tell you, the product you are involved in will collaborate with someone in that drama 20 years from now.

As soon as this collaboration was announced on SNS, we received a lot of feedback and read messages from Akanishi's fans via our PR person. The enthusiasm of the fans and their love for Mr. Akanishi is truly wonderful!
I am also an otaku in many ways, but I felt again that the figure of the fan = the target person. It is precisely because of this mutual trust that such a collaborative project was born, and in the development process, Mr. Akanishi's own tastes were also taken into account while making sure that the drink is easy to drink.
I think that this idea is born from the underlying desire for people other than myself to think that the food is delicious, and I think that the presence of people who support us on a regular basis is a big factor in making us think that way. This is Yamada's own guess, so I apologize if there are any differences in perception.
When we decided to launch this new gin, we first had the customers drink YASO's regular product. Then, we decided on the direction of "a gin that is not sweet, dry, but easy to drink.
The first prototype had coriander in it and a slightly different impression. From there, we got opinions again, and to add a little more root-based bitterness and flavor, we added ginseng, which is one of the characteristics of this gin, used for the first time, and also crossed orange peel and lemon peel to create a juicy flavor of orange and a bitter flavor of lemon, something we are not sure what it is. We created a fruitiness.
Based on Mr. Akanishi's opinions, Mr. Umeda is in charge of most of the gin and liqueur. Mr. Umeda is always taking into account the opinions of others while coming up with ideas and giving shape to them. As I watched from the corner, I couldn't help but think, "Wow, what a great manager!

The recommended way to drink it is with soda, as it is usually drunk with soda. Of course, it is also delicious mixed with tonic. I think it tastes like a certain carbonated drink when mixed with tonic. (according to the director and myself)
With the launch nearing, this text? Impressions? I am writing this, and I am really filled with a sense of excitement right now. I hope we can deliver it in a good and solid way to Akanishi's fans, people who like to drink, and various other people.
It seems that there will be some kind of project at the CraftsGin stand in Omotesando (Matsui is doing his best!) derived from this collaborative product! It's absolutely fantastic!) Please look forward to that as well.
THE HERBALIST YASO JIN will be available on Tuesday, March 4.
As a crazy aside, last December I met my beloved guess. (I don't want to use the word "guess" only for this person.) I was able to confirm that he was alive, but the actual memory of that time has only recently come back to me in vivid detail.
Thank you for reading to the end.
