Brewing starts in August 2023. A craft beer brewery located in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, a 10-minute walk from Joetsu Myoko Station. The name of the brewery is derived from the "ganki-zukuri" architectural style that is representative of the Joetsu Myoko area, and the brewery's name reflects the idea that "through beer, people are connected like geese, and share enjoyable moments together. This is the reason for the brewery's name.

this timeGangi BrewingThe collaboration with YASO GIN Extra Herbal Beer was a valuable experience for us, as we were able to be involved in the brewing process from the beginning. In producing the collaboration beer, we used juniper berries, cedar, fir, bergamot, and four of the seven parts that make up YASO GIN Extra Herb, a regular product at THE HERBALIST YASO, as secondary ingredients, Juniper berry, cedar, fir, and bergamot were used. During the preparation stage, we crushed the juniper berries, which we do not normally do in the distillation process.
From the moment I crushed it, I could taste the clean woodiness and subtle sweetness of juniper berries, and I was excited to help how this aroma would be expressed as a craft beer.... I also remember drinking the wort for the first time and being amazed at how something so sweet could be transformed into a bitter yet refreshing thirst-quenching beer! I still remember how surprised I was.
We have put the one and only YASO character into this craft beer created together with Gangi Brewing Co. We hope you will enjoy it.
