It is made by adding spices to sour and juicy Valencia orange peel and sweet and fragrant navel orange peel.

With the trust that has been cultivated over the past 20 years since the Whiskey Culture Institute was established, more than 300 experts from all over Japan have cooperated with us as judges. In addition to bartenders, manufacturers, and importers, many people with whiskey connoisseur qualifications also participate.

Blind tastings allow the judges to take a serious look at the bottles without being influenced by extraneous information.

What is YASO?
Spirits", "Gin", and "Absinthe" were created by using alcohol produced as a byproduct in the process of manufacturing health foods (enzyme products) made from 80 kinds of wild herbs, and are the one and only alcohol produced by Echigo Yakuso, which has been researching wild herbal enzymes for over 40 years with health as its theme.
