THE HERBALIST YASO Gin & Soda" from Joetsu celebrates the coming-of-age ceremony of the 25th year! Local company, Echigo Yakuso, sends a cheer to "a time of blessing and reunion" with this community contribution project.

To express our congratulations to all those who are eligible for the "Joetsu City Coming of Age Ceremony for 25 Year Olds (Alternative Event in 2020)" to be held on August 16, 2025 (Saturday), we will hold a giveaway of "THE HERBALIST YASO Gin Soda" from Joetsu.

Echigo Yakusyo and THE HERBALIST YASO Gin Soda
 Since its establishment in 1976, Echigo Yakuso has been based in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, one of the largest yomogi production centers in Japan, and has been manufacturing food products utilizing local "yomogi" under the theme of "health". The company's main products are enzyme drinks made from 80 ingredients, mainly wild plants, as well as gin "YASO" and kimchi "Mai Kimchi.
 The alcohol used to make gin is a byproduct of the fermentation process of enzyme drinks. We wondered if we could commercialize alcohol, which was originally considered unnecessary, in a way that was unique to Echigo Yakuso, and began development of "gin" by combining "spirits" made from alcohol by-products and wild herbs that we have been involved with for many years.
 THE HERBALIST YASO Gin Soda has the aroma of wild herbs and the herbal, refreshing flavor of botanicals and spices, with the sweet and sour citrus taste of grapefruit. It is also sugar-free and low in calories, and contains no sweeteners, preservatives or flavors. With an alcohol content of 5%, it can be enjoyed as a mealtime drink.
